Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures. You will be responsible for adhering to facility policy and procedures in the assessment, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of diagnostic services provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during all procedural cases
  • Demonstrate anatomic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners
  • Apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment following scope of practice
  • Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful procedure completion

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Graduate/GED certificate
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
  • RT with VI or CI credential preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
