Senior HIM Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior HIM Processor to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. This role is responsible for processing release of medical information requests, reviewing charts for physician incomplete and missing documents, and providing excellent customer service.

• Process release of information requests in accordance with policy and HIPAA laws
• Review charts for physician incomplete and missing documents
• Provide excellent customer service to requesters
• Assist in purging charts as scheduled and according to guidelines
• Maintain documentation of all processes as required in the HIM Department
• Meet productivity and quality standards as established in the HIM Department

• High School graduate or GED
• 1 year EMR experience
• 2 years working in a healthcare environment
• Medical Terminology preferred
