We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Acute Hospital Registered Nurse - Hemodialysis Specialist. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis machines.
- Work closely with patients and their families to educate them on their treatment options and provide emotional support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings preferred.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification a plus.
