Project Manager Opportunity with GPAC

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will spearhead the execution of successful outcomes on Commercial Construction projects. You will lead with a customer-centric approach, driving the project team forward, fostering open communication, setting clear directives, and maintaining elevated standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.
  • Expertly interpret and analyze Construction Plans and Specifications.
  • Mentor junior Project Management staff to ensure effective project oversight.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to identify future project opportunities.
  • Oversee Subcontractor and Vendor procurement processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Strategically address drawing interpretation challenges and conflicts.
  • Manage the comprehensive processing of project documentation, including Submittals, RFI's, Change Order Proposals, and more.
  • Facilitate accurate and timely Owner Billings and cost projections.
  • Provide oversight of Project Schedules and progress updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial/light industrial projects.
  • Profound understanding of building systems and construction methods.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to autonomously manage project lifecycle.
