Job Description

Purpose: As a Cardiovascular Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical support to our sales team in the field of cardiac pacing and defibrillators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide follow-up care to patients and physicians, ensuring seamless support and exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Deliver implant support within designated geographic areas, promoting efficient and effective procedures.
  • Conduct in-service training sessions for healthcare professionals, enhancing their knowledge and skills in cardiac pacing and products.
  • Train peers on cardiac pacing and products, fostering a culture of collaboration and expertise sharing.
  • Support clinical studies and scientific research by collecting patient data, managing clinical sites, and providing patient assistance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Stay current with industry developments, advancements, and best practices in cardiac pacing, defibrillators, and electrophysiology.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including features, functions, and benefits of our bradycardia and tachycardia products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide on-call coverage, supporting customers and addressing their concerns 24/7.
  • Travel within designated territories, providing implant support and covering emergency situations as needed.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, contributing to the development and implementation of new projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, or Bioengineering; graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of experience in cardiac cath labs, EP labs, or pacing businesses, with a focus on pacemaker and ICD support.
  • Prior experience in pacemaker implantation and follow-up care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

Please note that this role requires frequent travel, typically not exceeding 30% of working hours. Additionally, regular on-call coverage is expected, including weekends and holidays.
