This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with expertise in generating radiation therapy treatment plans to collaborate with esteemed Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to quality assurance and quality improvement activities, ensuring seamless integration with radiation therapists in patient simulation and plan deliverability on treatment machines.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and wellness benefits, paid time off, and more.

In addition, eligible candidates may be entitled to a sign-on bonus ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 based on years of experience. We also provide relocation assistance and temporary employee housing for eligible candidates who live more than 50 miles from the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Job Description

The Radiation Therapy Treatment Planner is responsible for collaborating with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists to generate radiation therapy treatment plans. This role requires expertise in dosimetry and a strong understanding of radiation oncology principles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists
  • Participating in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
  • Collaborating with radiation therapists in patient simulation and ensuring plan deliverability on treatment machines
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Master's, Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Dosimetry or related sciences. CMD certification is required upon eligibility, and 2 years of dosimetry experience are preferred.
