PRIMARY ROLE:

The Registered Nurse serves as a professional caregiver, taking responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients over a specific timeframe. This role involves delivering care through therapeutic engagement, the nursing process, environmental management, and collaboration with other healthcare team members. EDUCATION:

Current nursing licensure in New York State, limited permit, or eligibility. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Significant physical effort is required; lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving patients of various sizes and capabilities. Some lifting, reaching, and stooping are necessary. The role requires being on feet for much of the time.
