Neurophysiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Tech I to join our team at Children's Wisconsin. As a Neurophysiology Tech I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures to evoke, record, and study electrical physiological brain or nerve activities for use in diagnosing neurological disorders.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in neurodiagnostic procedures and be able to demonstrate competency and function independently in inpatient and outpatient settings. A completion of an electroneurodiagnostic (END) program is required, or an Associate's degree in Neuroscienses or related field with one year of EEG experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Neurosciences or related field with one year of EEG experience. In lieu of the above, four years of EEG experience or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification is acceptable.
As a Neurophysiology Tech I, you will be responsible for:
- Performing neurodiagnostic procedures to evoke, record, and study electrical physiological brain or nerve activities
- Demonstrating competency and functioning independently in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Completing an electroneurodiagnostic (END) program or having relevant education and experience
- Having current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to achieve optimum results
