Job Posting: Skilled Family Law Support Specialist
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid Schedule Available)
Position Type: Full Time, Salaried Non-Exempt (Eligible for Overtime Pay)
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package

Role Summary: The Support Specialist will collaborate closely with an attorney in the Austin office, assisting clients in alignment with our core values and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and court orders
- Communicate with clients and prepare necessary documents for Inventory and Appraisement and Proposed Support Decision
- File legal documents with court clerks
- Coordinate the delivery of subpoenas to relevant parties
- Conduct intake calls with prospective clients and prepare attorneys for initial meetings
- Assist attorneys during mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences
- Prepare discovery requests, track deadlines, and draft correspondence to opposing counsel/parties
- Support clients in meeting discovery requests and gathering required documents
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Texas Family Law
- Thorough understanding of the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization, problem-solving, and time management abilities
- Capability to learn and apply new software, technology, and methodologies
- Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Education and Certification:
- Undergraduate degree preferred but not required
- Paralegal certificate or certification preferred but not required
