Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Stock and organize hot and cold buffet items in a neat and timely manner.
    • Record temperatures and maintain logs of hot and cold items to ensure food safety and quality.
    • Ensure that food quality and presentation meet our standards.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
    • Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that our guests have a positive dining experience.
    • Assist other culinary personnel as needed.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Inform supervisor when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly.
  • Physical Demands
    • Stand and walk constantly.
    • Handle and finger objects constantly.
    • Reach outward and above shoulder occasionally.
    • Climb and crawl occasionally.
    • Squat and kneel frequently.
    • Bend frequently.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • One year of experience in a restaurant or buffet preferred.
    • Certifications and Licenses
      • Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
      • Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment.
    • Physical and Mental Demands
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple distractions.
      • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
      • Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
      Working Conditions

Work will take place in a busy gaming environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The environment is subject to smoke and associated effects.
