About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Using advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to identify and resolve issues
  • Working independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
