Forklift Operator Position
A military and aerospace distribution center is seeking a skilled forklift operator with expertise in operating stand-up reach and cherry picker forklifts.

This organization is a small distribution center focused on military and aerospace logistics, looking for a qualified forklift operator to join their team.

Position Details:
- Temp-to-Hire opportunity
- Compensation: $21.00 per hour
- Full-time hours available
- First Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM
- Responsibilities include material handling, order picking, packing, work order management, and inventory oversight.
- Transport materials across various work zones, including bulk storage, shelves, receiving, quality control, shipping, kitting, and packaging.
- Print and apply barcode labels as necessary, manage storage locations, and ensure accurate stock placement.
- Meet and exceed performance expectations set by management.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of certified forklift experience, specifically with electric stand-up reach trucks and cherry pickers.
- Inventory management experience is essential.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities is important.
- Applicants may undergo a background check.
