Athletic Trainer

OrthoAtlanta, a leading sports medicine practice, is seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide exceptional care for student-athletes at McDonough High School.

• Develop and implement injury prevention programs to ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes.
• Evaluate and manage sports-related injuries, illnesses, and conditions with expertise and compassion.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to facilitate safe and effective returns to play.
• Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and school staff to deliver comprehensive athletic healthcare.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare delivery policies.
• Educate and mentor student athletic trainers to promote overall athlete wellness.

• 1-5 years of experience as a certified athletic trainer.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
• BOC certification and state licensure as an athletic trainer.
• CPR/AED certification for healthcare providers.
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and a passion for sports medicine.
