Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy for web, aligning with business and product requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve the web platform, ensuring high-quality features and a world-class developer experience.
  • Partner with product teams to understand and address future technology needs and current developer pain points.
  • Represent the web platform as the technical point of contact for decisions impacting the whole platform and cross-functional partners.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of software development experience in web development.
  • Experience with architecting and designing highly available/fault-tolerant systems and operating complex services in the cloud.
  • Strong leadership experience, including leading meetings, presenting, and serving as the technical go-to person and cross-functional leader.
  • Deep understanding of web and network stack, with experience optimizing every part of the application.
  • Experience integrating 3rd party APIs, developing and deploying AWS tools and systems, and monitoring and improving performance and functionality of end-to-end customer and web experiences.
