POSITION OVERVIEW:

5.11 Tactical is a leader in the development of specialized technical apparel, footwear, and equipment designed for the most demanding environments. We are currently seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Assistant Retail Manager to enhance our retail operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring an outstanding brand experience while fostering strong customer relationships and achieving sales objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ENSURE A SUPERIOR BRAND EXPERIENCE
- Exemplify and promote 5.11's core values and service standards to provide an elevated customer experience.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to implement product displays and identify sales opportunities.
- Oversee merchandise processing and maintain sales floor standards.
- Train team members on fitting techniques and ensure accurate execution.
- Maintain a professional and organized store environment.
- Assist in monitoring sales goals and budgets to maximize profitability.

CULTIVATE CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS
- Foster a customer-centric environment with a focus on relationship building.
- Demonstrate effective selling techniques to enhance customer loyalty.
- Engage with local public safety organizations to strengthen community ties.

ACHIEVE SALES TARGETS
- Take responsibility for individual and store sales performance.
- Support the recruitment and training of high-quality team members.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance performance.
- Manage labor schedules and store expenses effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or 2-4 years of supervisory experience in retail, preferably in outdoor apparel.
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering loyalty.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication abilities across all organizational levels.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with POS systems.
