Bilingual Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Purchasing Analyst to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing materials and goods from overseas suppliers, preparing and creating purchase orders, and updating pricing histories and production scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a minimum of 3-5 years of purchasing experience from an industrial manufacturing background. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and inventory systems is also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Procuring materials and goods from overseas suppliers
• Preparing and creating purchase orders
• Updating pricing histories and production scheduling
• Negotiating with vendors to secure the best prices and specifications
• Facilitating project and product development
• Collaborating with multiple departments, including production, quality control, engineering, planning, and supply chain
• Communicating daily with overseas suppliers in China and Taiwan
• Utilizing ERP systems and databases to enter, save, and retrieve product details
• Analyzing market trends and formulating purchasing strategies

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. They will also have a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends and formulate purchasing strategies.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing experience from an industrial manufacturing background
• Ability to understand raw material applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP, and inventory systems
• Read and interpret engineering drawings (2D and 3D)
• Familiarity with Import/Export Procedures from overseas suppliers
• Bilingual: English & Mandarin Chinese verbal and written
• Project Management skills preferred

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
