Vivarium Technician

**Job Description**
As a Vivarium Technician, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of vivarium facilities, including cage cleaning, feeding, and monitoring animal health. You will work closely with our research clients to provide exceptional care for laboratory animals.
You will maintain all animals and animal housing areas according to facility standard operating procedures for each species. You will also identify animal care needs as they arise and report them to your supervisor.
We offer a competitive salary of $22-25 per hour, depending on experience. This is a weekend shift position, with occasional variable hours as assigned.
About the Role**
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will also be required to follow federal, state, AAALAC, and client requirements and regulations, including BSL 2 and higher areas.
