Key Responsibilities:

As a Human Resources Specialist, your duties will encompass a wide range of HR functions, including:

  • Managing and updating employee records, including health and agency services.
  • Preparing and overseeing new hire documentation to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Generating employment status reports for various departments.
  • Handling workers' compensation claims and leave requests, including FMLA.
  • Providing recruitment services, including sourcing candidates and conducting orientations.
  • Fostering employee relations and promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.
  • Administering weekly payroll processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Implementing safety strategies to protect employees and patients.
  • Strategically planning recruitment and retention initiatives.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration, payroll processing, and employment law.
