About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Corporate Communications to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with our company's business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic communications plan that enhances our company's reputation and brand.
  • Oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring our message is consistent and engaging.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets, proactively seeking opportunities to promote our company's brand and services.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, speeches, and other communication materials.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts, providing timely and accurate information to the media and the public.
  • Monitor industry trends and public opinion to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust our communications strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement effective campaigns that promote our brand and services.
  • Manage issues resolution, working closely with various stakeholders to address any concerns or complaints.
  • Provide strategic advice to our leadership team on all communication and public affairs matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in public affairs and public relations, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing media relations and drafting press releases.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and its trends.
  • Excellent crisis management skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing brand strategies.
  • Proven track record in managing successful communication campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in issues resolution and crisis management.
  • Must have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
