Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a contract position. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy to students identified with communication disorders in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy to students identified with communication disorders, including assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records of students on caseload, including progress notes, treatment plans, and evaluation reports.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate students with suspected communication disorders, making recommendations for speech and language services as needed.
  • Reporting: Provide comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines.
  • Goal Development: Develop speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
  • Consultation: Consult with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
  • Medicaid Billing: Participate in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.

Requirements:

  • License: Michigan SLP license
  • Certification: Both SLP-CCC candidates and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
