About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Fairfax Behavioral Health, a private, free-standing mental health hospital. As a Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing evening meals for patients and facility staff in accordance with approved menu cycles and production sheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meals for patients and staff in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Order and receive food supplies, and properly store them
  • Document food production records, including temperature checks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in quantity cooking
  • Basic knowledge of modified diets
  • Training in food service sanitation and certification
  • Experience with industrial kitchen equipment and utensils
