Job Summary:

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our residents by serving meals, handling food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Food Service: Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that meals are both presentable and appetizing in appearance.
  • Meal Preparation and Delivery: Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed, ensuring that residents receive their meals in a timely manner.
  • Resident Support: Handle requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Dining Room Setup: Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal, ensuring that the environment is clean and welcoming.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventorying supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and prepared for meal service.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Must have knowledge of dietary procedures, as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time, as this is a primarily standing position.
