Sanitation Technician Job Description

At Refresco, we're committed to putting our drinks on every table. As a Sanitation Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely prepare and apply cleaning solutions to production areas, equipment, and facilities.
  • Clean and sanitize conveyors, overheads, tunnels, floors, walls, and other surfaces to prevent contamination and ensure quality.
  • Segregate and compact recyclables, remove trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report any food safety or quality issues to Plant Management and SQFP to initiate corrective action.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of current cleaning methods, materials, and equipment, including chemical cleaning solutions, mops, buckets, and floor care machines.
  • Ability to operate heavy floor scrubbing machines and prepare cleaning materials and solutions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout an entire shift.
