    • Implement and maintain infection control practices, adhering to our Company Infection Control Manual and state, federal, and local guidelines.

  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work effectively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
    • Notify other departments of patient changes, such as room changes, leave of absence, new admissions, and discharges.

  • Education and Support
    • Conduct family and patient education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
    • Administer medications and treatments in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to facility policy and procedures.

  • Leadership and Professional Development
    • Participate in and contribute to our Quality Improvement Program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
    • Utilize the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in the most appropriate programs, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
    • Maintain current licensure as an LPN in the state and participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry advancements.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an LPN in the state.
  • One year of prior nursing management experience preferred.
