Worksite Health Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Worksite Health Technician to join our team at Medcor. As a Worksite Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first aid care and treatment to employees following workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, and client staff to ensure seamless care and case management
  • Conduct ongoing workers' compensation case management and Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation
  • Monitor treatment plans and provide education and support to employees
  • Work closely with outside medical providers and maintain accurate medical records
  • Assist with daily operations of the clinic, including ordering supplies and following compliance processes
  • Collaborate with the employer's Safety Team and Human Resources to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
  • Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including EMR software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and have good time management and organizational skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
