Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team as part of our RN Residency Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
  • Utilize the American Nurses Association's (ANA) Nursing: Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice to guide clinical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice initiatives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
  • Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Unit-specific RN attributes.
