Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Radiology Associates of Ocala. In this role, you will work in a dynamic outpatient Imaging Center, utilizing your expertise in ultrasound imaging and patient care to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selecting equipment for use in ultrasound setup according to specifications of examination.
  • Explaining process to patient, obtaining patient history, and assisting patient in position for examination.
  • Using cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
  • Maintaining ultrasound equipment and work area and maintaining adequate supplies.

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures and protocols, ARDMS certification, RVT certification, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of related experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, and ability to learn and grow with new technology are also essential.
