Medical Director

We are seeking a skilled Medical Director to lead our medical staff and ensure the highest quality patient care at Affinity Health Partners LLC.
About the Role:
The Medical Director will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enforcing acceptable professional and ethical standards of the facility's medical staff. This includes assisting the administrator in ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and accrediting-body rules and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct patient care in the facility according to adopted policies/procedures, state and federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards.
- Serve as liaison between the medical staff and governing body, ensuring open communication and cooperation.
- Evaluate and manage any dysfunction of medical units, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure staff and facility's compliance with federal and state regulations and codes.
- Keep your medical knowledge, experience, and licenses up to date.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma is required; management experience preferred.
- ACLS certification and RN degree completion or nursing training from an accredited North Carolina school of nursing are necessary.
- Leadership qualities, computer literacy, and strong ethical and moral character references are also essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent mobility and/or sitting required for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and use of a calculator or computer keyboard.
- Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
