Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Neighbors Emergency Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes
• Position patients and examining tables to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body
• Practice radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Administer and consent patients for contrast procedures
• Fill out paperwork and ensure proper documentation in patient charts

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• At least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience and CT experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
