We are seeking a skilled engineer to develop, sustain, and enhance the performance testing infrastructure and tools for WebKit. WebKit is the leading web browser engine that provides state-of-the-art web functionalities and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing configurations for continuous integration.

2. Analyzing issues impacting CI availability.

3. Implementing hardware utilized for testing in our laboratory, along with planning and inventory oversight.

4. Maintaining an organized laboratory environment.

5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support performance evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience in managing continuous integration systems.
• Strong understanding of Unix-based operating systems, preferably macOS.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Having any of the following will be advantageous for this position:
• Experience contributing to large-scale open-source software projects.
• Familiarity with Perl and shell scripting.
• Experience in developing or deploying cloud-based software, utilizing Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or JAMF.
• Familiarity with C/C++ or Objective-C.
• Understanding of application security best practices.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and the use of network diagnostic tools.
• Experience in troubleshooting Apple hardware.
• Skills in relationship building and technical consulting.
• Experience managing physical infrastructure.
• Competence in statistics and data analysis.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our overall compensation package and is determined within a specified range.

This allows for growth as you advance and develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $117,832 and $205,500 annually, with your base pay influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Eligible employees can receive discretionary restricted stock unit awards and may purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
