Salary RangeThe estimated annual salary for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 USD.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for evaluating, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring IT security measures utilized by USAC.
You will collaborate with senior security engineers, architects, and leaders, while providing guidance and support to junior engineers and system administrators. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree and/or relevant technical training
- Minimum of 5-7 years of directly related experience in IT network security implementation
- Experience with Federal Security Regulations, wireless network architecture, Websense configuration, security information/event manager configuration, anti-malware tools, endpoint/extended detection and response tools, vulnerability management, application security, and firewall experience with a variety of vendors
- High familiarity with web security solutions and incident response processes
