Job SummaryAs an Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our nation's heroes, including evaluating patients' medical histories, administering anesthesia, and monitoring vital signs during surgery.
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating patients' medical histories, allergies, and current medication use to identify potential risks and develop effective treatment plans
- Administering anesthesia to patients before procedures, and monitoring their vital signs during surgery
- Maintaining detailed records of patient treatment, dosing, and vital signs to inform ongoing care
- Providing post-surgical care to control pain relief and consciousness, and communicating instructions to specialists, nurses, and other medical staff
To be successful in this role, candidates must:
- Be a United States citizen
- Hold a Doctor of Medicine degree or its equivalent
- Possess a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any US state
- Be board-certified in their specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties
