Compensation:
$15-$20 per hour

Requirements:
Current Alabama Apprentice Card is mandatory.

Role Overview:
As a Commercial Plumbing Apprentice, you will be engaged in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems for large-scale commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the installation of plumbing systems from initial underground work to final trim outs.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure accurate plumbing layouts.
  • Working with various piping materials including copper, cast iron, PVC, and PEX.
  • Utilizing tools and techniques such as brazing, soldering, and Pro Press for pipe assembly.
  • Applying basic mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team or working independently as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Completing necessary background checks and drug screenings.
  • Providing your own hand tools, hard hat, and steel-toed boots.
