Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Oncologist to join our team at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. This is a full-time position with possible tenure-track status and faculty rank commensurate with experience and credentials.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional clinical care to patients with complex general surgical oncology diseases, including soft tissue, breast, foregut, cutaneous, and hepatobiliary diseases.
  • Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows as needed.
  • Contribute to the management and research of complex general surgical oncology, including developing and implementing new treatment protocols and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for the Surgical Oncology division and provide clinical expertise as needed.
Requirements
  • Board-eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery
  • Additional fellowship training and/or certification in Complex General Surgical Oncology is required
  • Committed to providing quality clinical care, student/resident teaching, and research
