Job Title: Computed Tomography Radiation Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Radiation Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Technologist to work in our Computed Tomography department. As a Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
