Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching Negotiations and other relevant courses, utilizing expertise in management and business principles.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's of Business Administration (MBA) or a degree in a field closely related to management or law; or a Bachelor's degree in a field closely related to management and relevant work experience in an area related to the course being taught.
  • Strong oral presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage students and convey complex concepts.
  • Significant and substantive professional business experience in an area related to the course being taught, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Management or a closely related discipline to the course being taught at the time the appointment begins.
  • Prior teaching experience, particularly in higher education, is highly valued.
