Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Statistician for Clinical Trials to join our team at BryceTech. This role will be responsible for providing advanced statistical consulting and data analyses to support BARDA's mission in enhancing the nation's public health security and emergency preparedness.

The Role
This Lead Statistician will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical advice on statistical methods and techniques for clinical studies. Key responsibilities include:
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and providing technical advice to project coordination teams on statistical methods and techniques for clinical studies.
  • Participating in planning, design, development, and execution of clinical trial protocols.
  • Developing and reviewing statistical analysis plans for clinical studies.
  • Consulting with and collaborating with other scientists on study design, data analysis, and interpretation of study results.
  • Conducting statistical simulations for evaluating novel clinical trial designs.
  • Evaluating data quality, performing statistical edit checks of source data, and taking appropriate actions to guide the resolution process.
  • Producing and validating statistical analyses and outputs for clinical studies.
  • Evaluating and ensuring CDISC compliance of study tabulation and analysis data files.
  • Writing specifications and statistical programs to generate analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
  • Developing and modifying statistical programs to extract, integrate, and tabulate statistical data, and to apply statistical formulae.
  • Identifying and acquiring data sources; evaluating the quality of data; identifying potential data problems from analytic queries and consistency checks; converting the data into the most efficient computerized form; performing and documenting computer programming to implement the analysis.
  • Preparing data transfer agreements and coordinating data transfer activities.
  • Performing additional activities and duties as requested.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in randomized clinical trials.
  • Experience working in both CRO and pharma environments preferred.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and R.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.

What We Offer
BryceTech offers a competitive salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive health plan including dental and vision coverage, company-paid life & disability insurance policies, 401(k) plan with company match, and an educational reimbursement program.
