THE POSITION
We are seeking a Sports Betting Cashier responsible for precise cash handling and processing sports book wagers and payments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accept bets and parlay cards, issuing tickets for all sporting events with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process sport or parlay tickets from customers, ensuring prompt payment for winning tickets.
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer for ticket issuance and redemption.
- Keep the betting window organized and stocked for the next shift.
- Ensure accurate transaction processing and maintain proper reconciliations.
- Adhere to all Title 31 procedures and documentation.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all terms and conditions related to sports wagering.
- Stay informed about all lines and odds within the Sports Book.
- Monitor for unusual betting patterns and report to the Sports Book Supervisor.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements set forth by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Deliver exceptional guest service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience or training in high-volume cash operations.
- Strong communication skills with the public.
- Ability to work with financial data and perform basic arithmetic functions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Responsible Gaming Program.
- Must qualify for and maintain licensure as required by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
