Position Overview

Role Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist is responsible for managing the Magnetic Resonance Imaging operations at our facilities. Key duties include:

  • Entering and monitoring patient information.
  • Transferring images from disk to magnetic media to create transparency.
  • Developing film using automatic processors.
  • Obtaining images and producing film records, ensuring backups are stored appropriately.
  • Transferring data from desk to PACS stations.
Professional Competence

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in job-related skills relevant to various customer demographics and departmental services, all while providing exceptional customer service.

Equipment Utilization

Utilization and operation of equipment and mechanical devices are essential to maintain a functional, effective, and safe working environment. Adherence to established policies, procedures, and guidelines is mandatory.

Qualifications

Registration as an MR Technologist by the appropriate governing body is required. A minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced MRI environment is preferred.
