Phlebotomy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Hutchinson Clinic P.A. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other patient specimens, scheduling and advising patients for special laboratory tests and procedures, and distributing laboratory reports.

• Maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Collect blood and other patient specimens in a safe and efficient manner.
• Schedule and advise patients for special laboratory tests and procedures.
• Distribute laboratory reports to patients and healthcare providers.
• Monitor department inventory and supplies.
• Perform venipuncture in contracted nursing homes.
• Meet minimum productivity standards.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills, courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs.

The Phlebotomist will work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
