Job Summary:

Virtua is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for patient populations according to protocols established by radiologists.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and take appropriate actions when service calls are required.
  • Provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to procedures and reviewing and verifying physician's orders.
  • Administer IV contrast safely and effectively, including IV catheter insertion, and prep patients according to established protocols.
  • Assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures and provide emergency on-call services as needed.
  • Provide instruction and assist in training new CT scan technologists.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  • Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • N.J. DEP licensure required.
  • Advanced level ARRT certification in CT scan technology preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.
