Manufacturing Supervisor

Woodstream is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Juneau, WI. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and engaging our workforce to safely operate, maintain, and improve equipment and assembly processes.

• Model and champion a safe work environment, ensuring proper training of all employees regarding GMPs, Safety, Quality, and other company procedures.
• Monitor verification and documentation associated with adherence to government regulations, assessing and addressing training opportunities, including job skills training and goal setting.
• Oversee all sanitation training programs, managing team to maximize efficiency, and consistently performing processes within designed and documented SOP methods.
• Perform timely feedback, coaching, and counseling on individual employee and team performance, managing and auditing timecards, and anticipating, planning, and monitoring line set-up & changeovers.
• Participate and lead continuous improvement events, proactive safety, quality near-miss situation communication, and conducting lab work/product tests in the absence of a quality technician.

• High School Diploma / GED required, 2-year degree preferred.
• Good Manufacturing Experience Practices preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a lead role or 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Supervision/management training, high degree of problem-solving skills, effective communication and leadership skills, and quickly learns and adapts and is flexible.
• Proficient in Windows-based applications, ability to focus on the tactical details of execution, and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• CPR/AED & First Aid Certified (or willingness to be certified).
