Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough clinical examinations of patients, record findings, and develop personalized treatment plans to ensure optimal oral health.
- Patient Education: Provide comprehensive instruction and counseling to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and dietary habits to promote overall well-being.
- Clinical Support: Assist in the supervision of dental hygiene students and provide guidance on clinical procedures and best practices.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, expose radiographs, and file patient data in our digital database.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Dental Hygienist course, and radiography certificate.
- Experience: One year of experience working as a Dental Hygienist, SC licensure, and proficiency in dental electronic record systems and digital radiography.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
