Long-Term Care Nurse Assistant Wanted in Canandaigua, NY

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Canadaigua, NY.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This includes:
- Observing residents' health and reporting any issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, etc.
- Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake
- Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
- Making beds and keeping residents' spaces clean and tidy
- Transporting residents within the facility
- Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A CNA certification from a reputable institution
- Current New York State licensing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
