Position Overview

Class A CDL Driver

Sunbelt Rentals, recognized as the fastest growing rental business in North America, is in search of a Class A CDL Driver.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and retrieving a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer job sites. This position typically involves operating a Class A truck, transporting equipment on flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailers across various environments, including urban, suburban, and rural areas. Safe driving in tight spaces, such as construction zones, is essential.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Valid Driver's License with CDL and a satisfactory driving record

Skills and Abilities:

• Previous training and/or experience with similar commercial vehicles preferred

• Experience operating flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, and dovetail trailers

• Capability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment and vehicles at job sites

• Strong customer service orientation

The physical requirements of this position include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, as well as working indoors and outdoors as necessary.
