Job Summary

ICC INC is seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality hand-crafted stainless-steel vessels and systems using provided parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and communicate any issues that may arise.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, overhead cranes, and man lifts.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in grinding and finishing to very specific and high-quality standards.
  • Follow all quality control procedures to ASME and ICC NW standards.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and good communication with other fabricators, team leaders, and supervisors.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage time and prepare for jobs tasks to maintain and efficient workstation.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of principles and processes of welding stainless steel.
  • Grinding and finishing of stainless steel to specific standards.
  • Use of power tools such as grinder, drill, polisher, belt sander, etc.
  • Must have own tools prior to start.
  • Blueprint reading and layout practices.
  • Use of common measuring tools.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to setup and troubleshoot common welding equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Working Conditions

This position routinely operates in a medium-noise, non-climate controlled facility with regular exposure to dust and residue. Machinery is present and in operation. Hours of work are determined based on shift.

This role requires the employee to occasionally stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
