Job Summary:
The Virtual Nursing Operations Specialist will utilize nursing processes and telemedicine technology to remotely assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients at Piedmont Healthcare Corporate. This role will function within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remotely assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients using nursing processes and telemedicine technology.
- Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Two (2) years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- Telemedicine and/or virtual care experience is preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
