Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at UR Medicine Thompson Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive athletic training services to our patients, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement athletic training programs to prevent and treat injuries in athletes
- Evaluate and treat athletic injuries, including concussions and other musculoskeletal injuries
- Provide education and guidance to athletes, coaches, and parents on injury prevention and treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to prevent injuries
- Baccalaureate of Science from an accredited Athletic Training Program
- Current NYS Licensure/Registration in Athletic Training
- NATABOC Certification
- CPR Certification within 3 months of employment
- Minimum one year experience as an Athletic Trainer
