We are seeking a skilled FHIR Java Developer to support the implementation of a healthcare interoperability project as defined by CMS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement FHIR-based API solutions that meet CMS requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications for data exchange.
  • Develop conceptual and detailed architectures for APIs using FHIR resources.
  • Test and troubleshoot HL7 FHIR implementations to ensure reliability and compatibility.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the web application seamlessly with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing HL7 FHIR interfaces.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of the HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard and FHIR implementation guides, including DaVinci, CARIN, US Core, etc.
  • Experience in data mapping of source data sets to FHIR resources.
  • At least 6 months of experience in HL7 FHIR implementation.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
  • Hands-on experience with OAuth.
  • Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and AWS DevOps.
  • Experience in securing APIs.
