We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our team at Refresco, the world's largest bottler for retailers and A-brands. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials, products, and equipment.
About the Role:Key Responsibilities:
- Operate gas or electric forklifts safely and efficiently, navigating between departments, buildings, and grounds.
- Loading and unloading trucks with incoming and outgoing materials, verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Inspecting incoming materials for shortages or damage, documenting issues promptly.
- Delivering a wide variety of materials while adhering to established safety procedures, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.
- Stacking materials in storage areas, utilizing palletizer equipment, and optimizing computer systems for production and loading.
- Performing cycle counts on materials, ingredients, and finished goods, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Attending communication meetings as required, staying informed about operational updates and changes.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, supplemented by 6 months or more of relevant experience and/or training.
- Forklift Certification is mandatory; proficiency in manufacturing software, inventory software, and database software is also essential.
- Ability to calculate mathematical figures and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
- Capacity to work independently, with minimal supervision, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, push/pull up to 40 pounds, and stand/walk continuously on concrete surfaces.
